Why to pin a post to the top?
There are many reasons to pin a blog post to the top of homepage and some reasons are given below.
- When we want to display a post for some time.
- When we don't want any post to go down after new updates.
- Any important announcement for blog readers.
- Want to give any offer to users through blog post.
How to get a post pinned?
- log into blogger account
- Go to Published post
- Search for desired post for pinning it.
- Click on Edit post button
- Click on schedule option in post settings given on right hand.
- Tick on "Set date and time" option.
- Here you have to set the date and time till you want to pin it.If you want to pin a post for some time then set short date lets suppose i want to pin a post for some months then i will give the date of july 8 , 2013 as it is dec 8 , 2013 but if want to pin a post for long time like a year then change date to next year in date and time option so the post will be pinned till year.
- If you want to bring older post to top then go to schedule option and change the old date and time to present time so the post will be displayed on top in recent post.
- Click on Done button given below the calendar to publish the post on new date and time.
