Publishing a new Post On blog website Part 2 [ Class Four ]

In last class "How to Publish a New Post in Blogger Part 1" we described some basic options to publish a new post like what is post tile , bold , italic , underline etc till text background color and we hope you understood all the options easily.

Today we will discus rest of the blog posting tools where inserting the Link , Adding Pictures and Videos , Jump break , Alignments will be discussed .

Tools for posting a new post

Before i tell you about link option i will try to make you understand that what is a link.While posting a article we try to connect another page to our post like a downloading page or something else so basically we can a link plays the role of connecting to different pages.

Link

Whenever we want put some links on our blog post we use link option to insert it and after clicking on it we would have below option.

• Text to Display

  If you selected any text for inserting any link then this box will be filled with selected text but if you have not selected any text then type the desired text in this box to put the link on it.

  • Web Address 

    Insert the link in this box to put the next page web address.

    •  Email Address

      If you want to add any email address on selected box then type it in this box
      

      • Open this link in a new Tab

      This option keeps the users stayed on your blog and definitely very helpful in search engine optimization because if you checks this option so after clicking on a link the related page will be opened on next page and the stay of a users on your blog will be longer so the bounce rate of your blog will be decreased .

    •  Add 'rel=nofollow' attribute

      If you want search engine not to follow the giving link then tick this option.
      

      Insert Image

      Image has very important role for every post because it attracts the user when the image is relevant to post  and if you want to post a picture
      
      click on image icon and upload it from your computer . There are other options too like if you want to insert a page from a link or webpage then right click on it and copy the image location and paste into from a URL option.

      If you have any video blog and want to post videos then blogger also has the option of video hosting as it hosts all the videos directly in google video database so click on insert video option and upload it from your computer but if you want to attach a you tube video then click on From YouTube option type the video name and search it when you find your video just insert in into post.

    Jump Break

    Do you have 200 to 300 words in a blog post then be careful because not using the jump break will be the caused of high bounce rate . When a user enters in a blog he finds complete written post on main page and after reading the post he leaves your blog and here the problem starts because google search engine thinks that user entered and flew away he does not even click on any thing so now your blog's bounce rate will be increased but if you don't want high bounce rate use the jump break after some lines of post content.After publishing the post you will see a read more button after short summary.
    

    Alignment

    
    If you want to start the writing from left , right or you want to centered your post use this options to bring the text on different place but i will suggest you to use the justify option in Alignment tool so the text will be balanced from both sides,
    

    Numbered List

    
    Are you writing on job salary or making your home budget but you have a huge list of many name so if you want to give the number list with each name then use the Numbered List option to make it happened.
    

    Bullet List

    
    Using the numbered list sometime is bit difficult because you cant give the sequenced numbers if you are writing different topics on different places then why don't you use bullet list to gives the shapes instead of numbers.
     

    Quote

    
    If you want to write something important , any quotation or want to quote something in a post use this option to help you out.
    
    

    Remove Formatting 

    If you applied different styles like bold,italic,underline and given colon on text but now you want to remove all styles/format from text then click on remove formatting button to remove it.

    Check Spelling 

  Do you have problem writing  English  or have any doubt writing words so use the check spelling tool in post tools to auto correct the word mistakes.
  
  

  Translator

  
  If you have any difficulty writing in some other language then use the translator option to translate the words into other language
  
  

  Left to Right Or Right to Left

  Do you want to start writing from left hand or writing in other language starts from right hand then use this button to change the starting the point.
  
  

  Here the all tools given in post edition menu are ended but still we have some options given to the right side

  Labels

  
  have you written the post and now want to publish on blog ? but wait ! did you give any label to the post . Labels are some kind of category would give to the post.Lets make it simple by giving an example.Suppose you are writing a post on a car and in future you want users to read all the post about the cars then give it a proper name into labels menu so it would be easy for users to view all the relevant posts.
  

  Schedule 

  
  If you are writing a future post and want to publish it in future then use the schedule option to give a date and time for publishing but if you want to publish right now then don't touch schedule option.
  

   Permalink

  
  permalink is a kind of URL which blogger automatically generates for your blog post and this link totally depends on your post title . If you want seo optimized post then give a custom URL by click on Custom Permalink option.Do remember for better seo give a link name which contains the post content names and also a keyword .
  

  Location 

  
  If you want to provide your location to users then click on this option search your place name like Country , City name . It would be useful for your blog readers to know your posting place.
  

  Options

   Reader Comments

  If you want blog readers to given comments on your blog then use the Allow button to let them post comments otherwise use the Don't allow options for showing the earlier comments or use the second Don't allow options for hiding the existing comments
  

  Backlinks 

  Use this option to create a backlink from your reader's blog by posting your post onto their blog.You don't allow them to create a backlink with showing or hiding the existing backlinks.

  Compose Mode

  As we know blogger is totally based on html so what happens when you want to give html blog post but after publishing it does not appears as it posted .Because blogger converts all the html codes and give it some structure So if you want to give any html example in post use Show HTML literally options or use the Interpret Typed HTML for giving the proper shape to the code.
  

  Line Breaks

  While writing post blogger uses <BR> tag after the line ends and automatically goes to next line but if you want to it by self choose the "Press Enter for line breaks" option now you have to hit enter button for going to next link

  Publish

  
  If you have written the post completely and now want to publish on your blog then click the Publish button to publish the post.
  
  

  Save

  
  In the middle of post if you want to save the post and write in future then save it by clicking on Save button
  
  

  Preview

  
  If you want to have a look before publishing the post then click on preview button to have a view.
  
  

  Close

  
  If you think you have started a useless post and want to cancel it then use the close button to end it.
